Nutanix Cements Enterprise AI Foundations With GPT-In-A-Box 2.0
As enterprises look to infuse their applications with artificial intelligence capabilities, they need robust infrastructure to support AI workloads. Hybrid cloud computing company Nutanix is answering that call with the launch of GPT-in-a-Box 2.0, an AI-ready platform aimed at simplifying AI adoption for businesses.
GPT-in-a-Box 2.0 builds on Nutanix’s initial offering by adding expanded GPU acceleration from Nvidia and support for deploying large language models from the Hugging Face library. The software-defined solution helps size and configure hardware and software to run AI models using open source AI/MLOps frameworks on Nutanix’s cloud platform.
“We saw a great response to our original GPT-in-a-Box launch, validating enterprise needs for on-prem solutions to simplify deploying and managing AI models,” said Thomas Cornely, SVP of product management at Nutanix. “Version 2.0 brings expanded Nvidia acceleration, simplified model management, and integrations with Nvidia inference microservices and Hugging Face models.”
Key new features include a unified UI for model management, API creation, user access control, and support for Nvidia’s Tensor Core GPUs. Nutanix also announced a partnership with Hugging Face to enable easier deployment of its language models within GPT-in-a-Box 2.0.
“Our mission is enabling organizations to build their own AI,” said Hugging Face CEO Clem Delangue. “Working with Nutanix makes it easier for enterprises to build AI apps on-premises leveraging our models.”
As AI goes mainstream, solutions like GPT-in-a-Box aim to provide turnkey infrastructure so businesses can focus on developing AI applications rather than wrestling with complex deployments. With tighter integration of GPU acceleration, language models, and MLOps tools, Nutanix is cementing itself as an AI platform player.

As intelligent automation technologies like robotic process automation (RPA), optical character recognition (OCR), and document automation mature, their strategic impact is amplified. SS&C Blue Prism’s document automation capabilities are described as a “game-changer” by Segura, enabling data extraction from documents to drive end-to-end process automation.
Moreover, the company’s business process management (BPM) and process orchestration tool, Chorus, is gaining traction outside traditional finance and insurance sectors.
